I weave with tencel yarn. Tencel is an eco-friendly fiber made of wood pulp in a "closed loop" manufacturing process. The non-toxic chemical solvents used to process each batch of wood pulp are recaptured and used for the next batch of wood pulp - hence a "closed loop" with low environmental impact. The result is a strong fine yarn with a lovely sheen, a pleasure to weave. On my loom, I turn it into a textile with a very soft hand and a wonderful drape and lustre - a pleasure to wear.
Care for these handwoven garments: gentle wash in cool water with mild detergent, air dry, and press with a medium iron.
